Electrotherapy

Electrotherapy is the application of electrical energy as a medical treatment. "Electrically induced heat", known as diathermy, is often used to relax muscles. It is a method of electromagnetic or ultrasonic heating of deep tissues for therapeutic purposes in medicine.
